03 Audi A4 1.8T

Hi, I have a'03 Audi A4 1.8T Quattro, 125K miles - When cold the transmission up/downshifts smoothly with no problems, at normal operating temperatures the transmission, on ocassion, slams while down shifting from 4th to 3rd, jerks harshly from park to drive and in tiptronic mode when stopping shifts hard into first when the car is coming to a stop. Upshifts/downshifts are smooth when cold or at normal op temps and at operates normally otherwise. Transmission has been serviced regularly, fluid change etc. and there are no trouble codes. Great car, but would like to take care of any problems before they too big.
Any suggestions as to what the cause may be would be welcomed.

The Transmission Control Module ("computer") controls the shifts of the automatic transmission. A transmission repair shop has the necessary test equipment to diagnose the problem. The problem is likely within controls on the OUTSIDE of the transmission.
