Remember Melissa?

Remember that little twerp, Melissa? We certainly do! How could we forget her? Many years ago, at age 12, she rocketed to #1 on our list of Car Talk haters. The most memorable part of her irate missive to us? "P.P.S. My dog hates your show too."

Over the years, many of you have shared your memories of her first letter, her visit to Our Fair City to be a reluctant guest on our lousy show, and the subsequent harassment over the years.

Want to chime in with you thoughts about our favorite little jerk? You can do it right here -- we'd love to hear from you!

Re: Remember Melissa?
Sure. We remember her. But why did you have to bring her up again? I remember having the shingles, too, but that doesn't mean I want to talk about it. Yeesh.

Re: Remember Melissa?
You guys must be masochists, and she might be one of the most arrogant young adults on 3 continents.

Love the show, however!

A girl with a chocolate Lab and a Honda Rebel can't be all bad. She is a perfect complement to you two guys.

Re: Remember Melissa?
I'll bet Melissa is on a college or university faculty somewhere and well on her way to being an adminstrator.

Hummmm, it seems like your web QC is on a par with your lousy radio shoe.

Re: Remember Melissa?
no lousy spell checker either.

Re: Remember Melissa?
Unless you are using a web browser from about 1990, you should have your own spell checker.

Re: Remember Melissa?
I do not find that to be true, Craig. Firefox only added auto spell check on forums fairly recently. My 2005 installation of Linux is still using an older version.

Re: Remember Melissa?
My macs have had spell checkers for quite a while now, I believe even the current version of windows finally has a spell checker.
