How about: "Better than This American Life on TV", or "Tappit Tales TV", "Car Guys: Driving People Crazy on TV", "Crazy Cambridge Car Mavens", "Magliozzi's Garage" (if you can call an award winning TV show "Taxi" you can call a cartoon Magliozzi's Garage - and listen to people butcher the name). "Sonia Henny's Tutu and Other Strange Tales", "Don't Drive Like These Brothers", "Seat Belts Required".
My top suggestion is "Lo Carb Emissions." Kind of mashes up cars, dieting and health (hey, it's a kids show), and greenhouse gases.
Of course, "Men with Emission" would be better, but that sounds more like HBO than PBS. Pretty funny, though.
15 years ago I used to love to watch "Animaniacs" with my kids. Plenty of inside jokes for the adults. So, "Auto Maniacs" might work for an animated show.
Finally, a lot of people suggested, "Don't Drive Like My Brother," but it really needs to have "and Don't Drive Like My Brother" added to mimic the show's tag line. Why not condense it to "Don't Drive Like These Brothers." Kind of implies a subtheme for the show.
You guys are great; been laughing for years (and learning something about cars) listening to you two. Keep on Not Getting Canceled. Hey, another show title?
