What should KUER name it's new social networking forum?
We need a good name for this thing.
What's in a name? Well...just believe me, we need a good name and we need your help. Keep in mind this will be used, primarily, by the RadioWest group to keep the on-air discussions going online after each show has ended. But the title needs to be flexible enough to be integrated by the News, Jazz, and whatever else we can think of in the future.
Open Source is a great model for how radio programs are connecting with their listeners in new and exciting ways. I was at a public radio talk show conference where I listened to Christopher Lydon encouraging talk shows to do just this. It's part of continuing to rethink how we use radio. Information isn't just beling delivered to you, but we're asking for your participation - in a permanent and community based way.

Received by mail: This may be too late, but how about KUER "PC" for the Comment Site? Meaningless, on its own, but promos could say, "PC" usually means "politically correct," but we mean "Public Comment", etc., etc., etc.
