What are your thoughts on the election?

Considering the differences between the candidates for each party, are there clear divisions within both the Democratic and Republican parties? How are the candidates communicating their stand on issues like the economy, Iraq, and immigration?

the results of the dem election scared the new world order folks, clinton is their party favorite,(follow the money so far and you'll see what i mean) a popular middle class uprising could cost them big-----looks like this business of supper delegates is their way to circumvent any such chance of a outsider from moving in.-sad to say it, but thats how i see it-----corprate clinton V
insane macDrain----------what a pair to draw too

I think there are definite divides. McCain will ultimately get the nomination, but sounds like conservatives arent that excited. On the Dems side, Obama and Clinton are neck in neck. They need to decide if they want to win. I think they are dreaming regarding Clinton. She is so polarizing, and Obama has ignited something special in many people... but it is hard to move against the establishment, clearly.

I agree with this statement. Corprate Clinton V MacDrain. So whats the point of voting if the Democratic representitive is going to be picked by Super Delegates and not the people?

Re: What are your thoughts on the election?
Since neither Obama nor Clinton can get the delegates on their own, I think we should nominate Obinton or Clintama for the Democratic candidate.

Re: What are your thoughts on the election?
I am surprised that Americans are not being made aware that Bill and Hillary Clinton are current defendants in the appeal of a Fraud Case dating back to 2000. This may shed some light onto the blocking of the Presidents papers and the past 7 years tax returns. The case is Paul v. Clinton being tried in the Los Angeles Superior Appellate court (Case No. BC34174). The new evidence which assisted the plaintiff in gaining a new trial, contridicts previous testimony given by Hillary Clinton. Judge Aurelio Monuz granted and extension in order to have Hillary Clinton served on Feb 28, 2008 and admonished her attorney David Kendall. She has since been served. The trial is expected to be held in the fall of 2008. Also being called as a witness is Gov Ed Rendell of Pennsylvania. Just google Paul v. Clinton. To drill down to current events in the case add 2008.

It's amazing how naive Obama supporters are. They are crying foul now because Geraldine Ferraro has the audacity to tell the truth. A white woman with Obama's resume would not even be considered for class president. Obama has neither the thick skin, the backbone nor the stomach to be in politics. What does he think the Republicans will do and say if he gest the nomination???? I want my president to be someone who can get dirty if getting dirty is what's needed to make changes in this country. I want a president who won't flich when someone spits at her face. I want my president to have been battle tested and who can take it as good as she gives it. Hillary is the most qualified person to be our next president. She should be elected because she is the most qualified, not because of her gender or her race. Obama has been getting a free ride and it is about to end.

Obama and his spiritual adviser
Obama supporters are resorting the Republican bag of dirty tricks and bringing up all the things Karl Rove and his ilk have done to the Clintons for more than 15 years. All their accusations, by the way, have proven to be false, i.e., there was no evidence. Remember when Rove and his ilk claim the Clintons stole furniture from the White House? Hillary has been called everything by the Republicans. Nothing Obama supporters say or do will stick. What will stick in the minds of voters will be the words of Obama's "spiritual adviser". It has taken Obama more than 2 years to realize his "spiritual adviser" is a racist, anti-semite, anti-American, hate monger, but I am sure they are still best friends, and the so-called reverend is still advising Obama and his wife...

Re: What are your thoughts on the election?
There are very clear differences between the two parties leading into the election. The Republicans tend toward war as a good thing (but it's not). The idea that lowering taxes will help Americans to spend their own money on needs etc is Republican. The problem with that, as the Democrats will state, is that government taxes PAY for needs that we all have. Good roads. An army that's not too thin. Governing over the airports and seaports and borders. Now education is another story. Hello? I'm willing to pay for good education for myself and my children, and have paid lots over the years, but government controls here have been harmful. The no child left behind law has forced teachers to call it the "no teachers left alive" law because they are subject to so much paperwork and teaching to the test, that they are simply frustrated and worn out. And are the children learning more? Less I'm afraid. Our children's education is the most important issue for the future and I know the Dems have addressed it, but I do not think the Repubs have as yet. Barack Obama seems to be able to clearly state his positions which I believe to be a great strength. Listen to Mrs Clinton and see how much is substantive of what she says. On immigration, there are a lot of discriminatory statements on both sides. We need to treat the Mexican situation as we would other nationals from other countries. The fact of the economy tanking seems to be cyclical to me- and I am not an economist. The Republicans continuing to support an exceedingly expensive war is hurting America's current and future economy, and makes me feel no more secure than I was 7, 10, or 25 years ago. Thanks for listening.
