If you could reform the immigration system, what would you do?
Are you glad the current bill failed in the Senate? What\'s your alternative? What kind of reform would you prefer? President Bush says, "The American people understand the status quo is unacceptable when it comes to our immigration laws," so what should happen now?

If the Catholic Church would liberalize their birth rate policy just a little bit, this would go so far in relieving the population pressures of nations, such as Mexico, and conversely reduce the number of people trying to immigrate into the US.

The Pope tells the 3rd World\'s catholics - have as many children as God allows you - don\'t worry whether or not you can afford them - God will provide. Likewise, the Pope tells the so-called "rich nations" (thought I don\'t feel very rich living here in the US) to take in all these migrants, that he has helped create. Because we must be charitable to the less fortunate.

One action that can be taken to reform immigration would be to get the Pope to simply "shut up". I\'m not advocating any drastic measures, but rather whatever.

I got excellent care in Zimbabwe while I had no papers due to an injury. Withholding care is unethical and any doctor who does should lose his license!

We should definatly restrict citizenship to the children of citizens regardless where they were born.

Sponsorship of prospective immigrants needs to be easier than it is but should have the effect of being a third party bond. Any infraction against the law should be a strong burden to the sponsor. Overstay a visa sponsor pays a big fine.

Support better business practices in Mexico and Guatemala fair wages make for people who do not leave.

Severe fines for Businesses who hire undocumented workers.

As the dollar falls immigration will be less worth while, Like the preacher prayed for the Millionare "God please bankrupt this man so that he will be better able to tithe with a glad heart." When we all are hungry we will have less to fear from outsiders.

What we need and must focus on is a understanding that illegal immigrants and putting any size businesses\' need for increasing profits for their CEOs, Stockholders and Bosses (along with more than 2-births per 2-people families) continues to erode our quality of living and environments (which is really a part of quality of living; let alone the small affective of a huge fence). We should make US Constitutional Laws that makes it illegal and huge consequences (based upon earning level of the companies) for any size company to:
hire any non-USAn Citizen,
(Move or own anything outside of The USA) pay other countries\' citizens less, work more hours, health insurance and less worker rights than USAn Citizens,
and
Etc.

Make it illegal for any hospital to give any care to illegal citizens.
