Do you have loved ones who might benefit from advances in stem cell research?
Does the method make any difference to you or do you support stem cell research, even if human embryos are destroyed in the process? Will this likely be the solution to the ethical controversy over stem cell research?

I completely support stem cell research with no limits, period.

YES! My daughter is Type 1 diabetic and my brother-in-law has early Parkinson\'s. I am very much in support of embryo research and in appropriate regulation of the embryo use. Before my vasectomy, I deposited sperm at OHSU fertility clinic in the event of a breakthrough in type 1 diabetes. My wife and I agreed we would create a petrie dish embryo to extract stem cells if possible. The skin cell research is VERY positive and would definitely help the "where life begins" contravercy. But, the underlying mindset of people (such as my own brother) who are so rigid due to religion or just out right fear, will be much more difficult to change and still affects so much more progress.
