VPR's series of campaign debates kicks off Sept. 24 at 7:00pm with the governor's race. VPR's Bob Kinzel is joined by Jane Lindholm to host a live debate among the major party candidates for governor.

VPR asked listeners what's on your mind this election season? Do you have a question for the candidates? What do you feel are the important issues that need to be addressed by the governor-elect in 2009? Some posted questions, some recorded questions on Reactionline.

Governor Douglas has made a campaign ad regarding Gaye Symington's tax return disclosure from several weeks back .In it he directly accuses Speaker Symington of releasing a false tax return,using newspaper quotes that were corrected after they appeared .The manor in which the charges are made is not quite factual and might be considered misleading.I would like to know why the Governor finds in necessary to inject a negative,personal ad into a Vermont
election that should be issue oriented.
